Testing in -20C

On 04, Feb 2014 | In News, Uncategorized, Work | By admin

This was a test flight before 4 days shooting in cold and partly very windy conditions in Lapland. Everything worked really well whole week after optimizing our systems for cold temperatures. All footage are naturally straight out of camera, no post stabilization, only color graded with FilmConvert.

Itella Vision 2020

On 18, Dec 2013 | In News | By admin

Recently we had a commission for shooting aerials for this great film for Itella logistics. We had a really fascinating days shooting in various challenging locations, like in the narrow aisle inside the logistics center, or in the middle of the city between tram power lines.  Thanks for TreFilm production for really nice shooting days.

New impressive Blackmagic pocket cinema camera!

On 29, Sep 2013 | In News | By admin

It’s small, it’s light, 13 stops dynamic range, raw footage! It’s a beast packed in a tiny box. Much flight testing coming next week to see if it’s the end of DSLR footage era.

Testing 3-axis brushless gimbal

On 05, Jul 2013 | In News, Work | By admin

Testing my newly built brushless modification for 3-axis gimbal. All footage are straight out from camera, no post stabilization added to any clip. I’m really happy with the results so far. Only a year ago we could only dream of this level of stability without any software post stabilization, or alternatively we were restricted to use only one camera with one lens setup. Now we really are there with any camera or any lens, goodbye post stabilization!

Madeinsky thanks its trade fair visitors

On 10, Mar 2013 | In News | By admin

The stand of Madeinsky at the Kuva&Kamera (Image&Camera) trade fair in Helsinki on March 8.-10. was one of the event’s most crowded spots. The two camera-equipped multirotors on display attracted a constant flow of interested visitors. Many of them were in no hurry to leave. The quality of the video material displayed on a large tv screen drew one superlative after another.

“We were in the right place at the right time”, Kari and Tuomas summed up at the close of the event.  “Many visitors had seen multirotor imagery on internet, but grasped only now what it takes to reach the pro level.”

Numerous contacts with potential customers and partners were established during the fair. Over the next few days, all will receive a call from Kari or Tuomas. Judging by the drain of their business cards, even more incoming calls may be expected.

A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL!
